Insider intelligence information from the town of Sloviansk: The self-proclaimed mayor of Sloviansk, Viacheslav Ponomariov, gave an order to his armed militant forces to take over kindergartens. As of 1 p.m., around 5-6 armed men each are in kindergartens and schools. The mayor gave an order to his terrorists to use Putin’s tactic – shield themselves with women and children. Parents who came early to take their children out of kindergartens ran into problems not getting their children back for various reasons, and they confirm stories that they are supposed to fight on the side of the so-called Donetsk Republic.
In addition, it has been confirmed that Ponomariov has threatened to shoot people who help Ukrainian troops. After the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) began outside Sloviansk, and people put up leaflets calling on ordinary civilians not to leave their homes, not to fall for provocations, and not follow the criminal orders of Ponomariov’s self-proclaimed criminal regime, Ponomariov announced that all those caught with these leaflets would be shot.
Pro-Russian militants won’t spare anything. Civilians’ lives mean nothing to them! I call on all ordinary citizens of Sloviansk to seek shelter so that Ukrainian soldiers can effectively and professionally clear the territory of terrorists and not cause the deaths of Ukrainian citizens.
