In Mykolaiv, the doors of the home of Democratic Alliance activist Ievheniia Mateichuk, who took part in a number of protest acts in Kyiv, were burned.
She wrote this on her Facebook page.
“They just burned my doors down. I only heard a small explosion and someone running down the stiars. I waited for the police, and the MNS (Ministry of Emergencies) quickly responded (they were there in 10 minutes),” said Mateichuk, who later explained that she had to wait 50 minutes for the police to arrive.
“Earlier, someone had put epoxin on my door, then people put up leaflets with various information which also included my contact details and address,” said the activist regarding other acts of hooliganism directed against her.
“I can only see this as being connected with my being coordinator of Mykolaiv’s Maidan,” added Mateichuk.
