Ievromaidan SOS Status Update, December 29, 2013:
Automaidan Organizer Summoned for Questioning Tomorrow at 14:00
Dmytro Iovdiy, lawyer for Automaidan activists, told Ievromaidan SOS that Dmytro Bulatov, Automaidan organizer, has been summoned for questioning at MVS (Ministry of Internal Affairs) of Ukraine in Kyiv.
As his lawyer noted, Bulatov formally is being summoned as a witness in an investigation of a case involving the blocking off of public roads (a case whose opening had been reported earlier). However, Dmitro Iovdiy says that the MVS’s real motivation for this is connected with automobile processions to Mezhyhir’ia which Dmytro Bulatov had organized. Moreover, the lawyer emphasized, after the so-called amnesty law had taken effect, a criminal case involving the blocking of roads should have been closed already.
Dmytro Iovdiy calls on journalists to come to the MVS of Ukraine building in Kyiv (Volodymyr Street 15), where Dmytro Bulatov and his lawyer are ready to give immediate comments following questioning by the MVS.
